RXTECH
IT solutions / Cybersecurity — Calgary, AB

Downtime is a symptom.
We treat the system.

RxTech keeps business infrastructure healthy: proactive maintenance that prevents failures, emergency recovery that survives ransomware, and data systems that put your information to work — engineered by humans, accelerated by automated intelligence.

RXThe protocol

Diagnose. Prescribe. Operate. Monitor.

Every engagement runs the same four-phase protocol — a treatment plan for infrastructure, not a bundle of products.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

A structured assessment of your environment: infrastructure, security posture, backup integrity, and data flows. You get a findings report in plain language — what's healthy, what's fragile, what's already a problem.

  2. 02

    Prescribe

A prioritized plan with costs and sequencing. Critical exposure first, quick wins early, larger engineering scoped honestly. No bundle-padding — you see exactly what each line item treats.

  3. 03

    Operate

We implement: hardening, backup vaults, replication, integrations, automation. Routine work is automated and versioned; changes are tested with rollback plans. Your team is looped in, not locked out.

  4. 04

    Monitor

Standing telemetry, scheduled maintenance, rehearsed recovery drills, and a monthly report of what was done and what's next. The protocol repeats — because environments change and attackers don't retire.

Operating principles

The promises behind the prescription.

Comprehensive

We protect and recover your entire environment — infrastructure, configuration, and data — not just the files.

Secure by design

Our access to your systems is least-privilege and auditable. It can't be abused for destruction or exfiltration — including by us.

Rehearsed

Recovery is a tested procedure with measured objectives, not an improvisation. The first real incident is never the first attempt.

Effortless

Nothing for your team to install, babysit, or remember. Maintenance happens on schedule, and you get the report.

Questions

Straight answers.

What does RxTech do?

RxTech is an IT solutions and cybersecurity practice based in Calgary, Alberta. It provides four core services: proactive maintenance (monitoring, patching, and hardening of IT environments), emergency recovery (immutable backups, environment replication, and rehearsed disaster recovery), data and automated intelligence (integrations, pipelines, and AI-assisted automation for underutilized business data), and security operations (access control, endpoint protection, and security monitoring).

How fast can you recover our systems after ransomware or a major failure?

Recovery speed depends on your environment and the recovery-time objective (RTO) we design together — that target is set during onboarding and then rehearsed, so the number is measured rather than promised. The architecture that makes fast recovery possible is standard in every RxTech recovery engagement: immutable backups an attacker can't delete, a replicated alternate environment ready to receive traffic, and point-in-time rollback for breaking changes.

Do you replace our internal IT team?

No — RxTech works either as your complete outsourced IT function or alongside an internal team. Internal teams typically keep day-to-day ownership while RxTech carries the specialized layers: recovery architecture, security operations, automation engineering, and the maintenance work that never makes it to the top of an internal backlog.

How does RxTech use AI?

As an engineering tool, not a personality. AI models are applied where they measurably outperform conventional automation — classifying documents, extracting data from unstructured sources, summarizing logs, flagging anomalies — and are wrapped in the same discipline as any production system: defined accuracy expectations, human review on consequential output, and version-controlled deployment. Where a script does the job better, we write the script.

What does 'proactive maintenance' actually include?

Continuous health and capacity monitoring, scheduled and tested patch cycles, configuration hardening with drift detection, hardware and software lifecycle planning, and a monthly plain-language report. The goal is that faults are corrected on schedule during business hours instead of discovered during an outage.

What happens in the first month of working with RxTech?

The first month is the Diagnose phase: an inventory and assessment of your infrastructure, security posture, backup integrity, and data flows, delivered as a findings report with a prioritized plan. Nothing is changed in your environment until you've seen the findings and approved the prescription.

Next step

Start with a systems diagnostic.

A structured assessment of your infrastructure, security posture, and data — findings in plain language, before anything is changed or sold.
